I’m a Gen‑Xer, raised on mixtapes and monster manuals, paper dungeons and plastic dice — the kid who drank from the hose, got locked outside all day, and knew it was time to head home when the streetlights buzzed awake. I rolled my first character in 1982 and never stopped adventuring; I just kept adding new realms.
In 2001 I got my radio license and discovered another universe entirely — one made of signals, static, late‑night QSOs, and the quiet magic of reaching someone hundreds of miles away with nothing but wire, wattage, and willpower. Somewhere along the way I became a dad to four, a granddad to three, and a lifelong student of anything worth learning.
These days I split my time between the airwaves, the tabletop, and the workshop — building apps, antennas, stories, workflows, circuits, and whatever else sparks curiosity. If it has knobs, lore, solder, or a good challenge, I’m in.
This site is where all of that converges: the radio operator, the storyteller, the tinkerer, the dungeon‑delver, the perpetual experimenter. It’s a place for signals and sagas, gear and goblins, circuits and campaigns — all the things that make the adventure worth sharing.
